Some of the greatest names in Philadelphia sports are gathering for the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame's will 4th Annual Induction Ceremony. This year's event honors the members of Inductee Class IV consisting of 13 individuals and one team. Also honored are the Hall of Fame's 2007 Pride of Philadelphia winners National League MVP Jimmy Rollins of the Phillies and the 2006-07 PIAA Class AAAA Champion Cheltenham High School girls basketball team.

The Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame will hold its 4th annual Induction Ceremony on December 12, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency Penns Landing. This year's event will honor the members of Inductee Class IV. The new class, including one team and 13 individuals, joins the 67 current members of the Philly Hall.

Titled the Philadelphia Sports Heritage Collection, it is a cooperative initiative of museums, universities, professional sports teams and other organizations to provide digital access to source materials and artifacts related to Philadelphia's sports history.

Members of the 1960 NFL Champion Philadelphia Eagles lead an amazing gathering of local sports legends attending the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame’s Annual Induction banquet. Scheduled to attend the festivities from the 1960 Eagles are Chuck Bednarik, Tommy McDonald, Tom Brookshier, Pete Retzlaff, Maxie Baughn and Ed Khayat along with Class III Inductees Jack Ramsay, Ray Didinger, Bill Ellerbee and Don Bragg. The 3rd annual Induction Ceremony, which is open to the public, is Thursday April 6, 2006 at the Sheraton Society Hill in Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame will hold its 3rd Annual Induction Ceremony on April 6, 2006 at the Sheraton Society Hill in Philadelphia. The cocktail reception begins at 5:30 PM, followed by dinner and the Induction Ceremony. The event also features a gallery of original artwork and an exhibit from the Hall of Fame’s museum collection.
