What are the details for the Induction Ceremony? The banquet is Thursday, November 14th, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Penn’s Landing, 201 S. Columbus Blvd in Philadelphia. The reception starts at 5:30 and includes an open bar and hors’ d'oeuvres. The full-course gourmet dinner starts at 6:30 with the Induction Ceremony starting around 7:15.
Is the banquet open to the public? Yes. The Hall of Fame induction is a special night that is shared with area sports fans. We offer the following packages for attendance:
- VIP tickets - $275
- Hall of Fame Sponsor - $2750 - VIP table and full page ad
- Regular admission tickets - $165
- Regular table - $1750 (table of ten)
What is the difference between VIP and regular tickets? VIP tickets give you access to the VIP reception where you can meet this year’s Inductees, past Inductees and special guests from the Philadelphia Sports.
Can I pay at the door or buy tickets at the door? Due to venue restrictions we cannot accept payment at the banquet. All tickets must be paid in full prior to the banquet. Tickets are not available for sale at the door.
When will I receive my tickets? Tickets are mailed 3 to 6 weeks prior to the banquet. For orders received after November 1, tickets will be held at the Will Call desk the night of the banquet.
What about accommodations at the hotel? The Hall of Fame has secured a block of rooms at discounted rates for those attending the banquet. Contact Brent at Sims Travel to book rooms at the discounted rate:
